Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar storage are small pieces of information a site keeps in your browser. This policy explains which ones Cactive uses and why. The Privacy Policy covers the rest of how we handle personal information.

• cactive.com.au sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
• Your browser remembers that you closed an announcement, so it stays closed.
• A link’s campaign tags are kept in your browser for the visit and passed to the sign-up page. We don’t store them.
• Opening a policy or the support page from one of our phone apps sets a cookie for that session, so the page shows without the site’s menus.

The apps use only the cookies they need to work:

• to keep you signed in: an access token for 15 minutes and a refresh token for 30 days
• to remember which account you’re using, if you have more than one
• to remember preferences, such as your theme, organisation, language and recent apps, for up to a year

None are for advertising or analytics, and we don’t let other companies set cookies in the apps.

The payment page shows Stripe’s card form, which may set Stripe’s own cookies to prevent fraud. Stripe’s privacy policy covers them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the apps’ cookies, you won’t be able to stay signed in.
