Your images stay in Drive and Photos
Studio keeps nothing of its own. Open an image from Drive or Photos, save it to Drive, and share it, comment on it and restore it as you would any file.
Open from Drive
Open in Studio is in an image's menu and its preview, and New → Image starts one that saves into the folder you're in. The start page lists your recent images and PSDs.
Edit a photo
Edit in Studio opens a photo from your Photos library. Saving adds an edited copy to your library, and the original stays as it was.
Share and comment
Share opens Drive's sharing, with the same people, teams, links and roles. Pin a comment to a spot on the image, and click its number to go there.
Version history
See the file's versions in Drive, and restore one to make it current and reopen it.
