One spreadsheet, with everyone in it at once
Everyone with the file open edits at the same time and sees the others' changes as they type. Comment on cells, and go back to an earlier version.
Edit at the same time
Everyone sees the others' changes as they type. The people in the file are shown in the header, each in their own colour, and their selections on the grid with their names.
Comments and notes
Comment on a cell and mention someone with @ to notify them. A note is a plain remark that shows when you point at the cell.
Version history
Open an earlier version to see the cells that differ from now tinted, then restore it or make a copy. Restoring adds a new version, so nothing is lost.
Saved, even offline
Changes save to Drive as you make them. Offline, keep working: your changes stay in the browser and are sent when you're back.
