The timeline
Everything by day, newest first, under each month's heading. Drag the scrubber on the right to jump through months and years.
The viewer
Open a photo full screen and zoom in, play videos, and press and hold LIVE to play the moment around a Live Photo. Arrow keys go from one photo to the next.
Time and place
When and where a photo was taken come from the file: the camera's time and time zone, GPS, camera and lens. Change the date or the place, or remove the place, and Use the file's brings the file's own back.
Favourites, the archive and the trash
Favourite what you love. The archive keeps photos out of the timeline but in albums and search, and the trash keeps what you delete for 30 days.

Select many
Tick photos, or Shift-click for a range, then favourite, share, download, archive or add them to an album.
Descriptions
Add a description to any photo, and find it by those words in Explore.
The original, always
Download any photo's original, exactly as it was uploaded.
Details at a key
Press i in the viewer for a photo's details: when, where, camera, file and albums.
