Search every drive you're in at once, or start from Recent, Starred or Shared with me. Files you can't open never show up.

Every word you type is matched in names, across everything you can open, with filters for type, owner and when it was modified.

Documents, spreadsheets and presentations are also found by the words in them, with the line that matched.

Shared with me lists what people shared with you or your teams, Recent what you opened or changed in the last 60 days, and Starred what you marked.

An item's details show where it is, its size and type, who owns and changed it, and its activity, versions and comments.

Quick to work through

Grid or list
Sort by name, date modified or size, with folders first.
Select many
Command or Ctrl-click and Shift-click to select several items, then act on them all at once.
Drag to move
Drop items on a folder, or on a folder in the path above, to move them there.
Right-click and shortcuts
Right-click for every action, and press ? for the keyboard shortcuts.
