Your files, kept to the people you choose
Your personal space belongs to you, not to any organisation. Each space's files are stored encrypted, bound to a key of its own, and you only find what you can open.
How Drive keeps your files private
A personal space
It belongs to you, outside every organisation: no organisation, its owners or admins, its keys or its AI clients can reach it. Share from it with anyone by their email address.
Caity only if you say so
Caity reads your personal space only if you turn on personal spaces.
An activity log
Every change and every access in your personal space: who opened, downloaded or zipped what, and visits through your links, wrong passwords included. Kept a year, and only you can read it.
Encrypted per space
Each space has its own key. Every file, version, thumbnail and ZIP is stored encrypted and bound to it, and every use is logged with the space and the file.
Only what you can open
Files you can't open aren't found at all: Drive doesn't say they exist.
Admins get no files
Owners and admins manage every shared drive's members, but get no files by that alone. Changes to your organisation's files go to its audit log.
Keep your team's files in Drive
Every Business plan includes it, with Mail, Documents and Tasks, and every personal account gets it free.
