Pages that print the way you see them

Paper size, margins, headers, footers, page numbers and footnotes, laid out as you type. Or turn on Pageless for one long sheet on screen.

Pages or pageless

A document shows on pages of its paper size, with the margins you'd print. Turn on Pageless for one long sheet, which suits notes nobody prints.

Text that breaks well

A heading stays with the paragraph after it, a paragraph never leaves one lonely line at the foot or top of a page, and a table repeats its header row on each page.

Headers, footers and page numbers

Double-click a page's margin to write its header or footer, and put the page number in a corner or the middle. Give a cover page its own, and choose the first number.

Footnotes

Notes are numbered in the order their references appear, and sit at the foot of their reference's page, which keeps room for them. Pageless documents list them after the text.
