Your own domain, served over HTTPS
Add a hostname and Cloud lists the DNS records to create. Once they're in place, the certificate is issued and the domain serves production.
The records to add
Copy each record, copy them all or download a zone file. Cloud checks your DNS in the background, or straight away with Check now, asking your zone's own nameservers.
Added in Cloudflare for you
Connect Cloudflare once, and Cloud creates a domain's records in your zone for you, as DNS only, then checks the domain right away.
Move a live domain
For a domain that already serves a site, the certificate is issued first. Switch the record when you're ready, and visitors stay on HTTPS throughout.
It follows production
A domain serves the app's production deployment through every deploy, promote and rollback. Redirect it to another of the app's domains, or move it to another app.
