Invite anyone, and see who's coming
Guests get an invitation by email from the mailbox's address and answer it in Apple Mail, Outlook or Gmail. Their answers update the event.

From the mailbox's address
Invitations go out from the mailbox with the event attached, so Apple Mail, Outlook and Gmail show buttons to answer.
Answers on the event
Each guest shows as going, maybe, not going or awaiting reply. Only answers from the guest's own address count.
Updates and cancellations
Changes go to every guest, and removed guests get a cancellation. A new time asks everyone to answer again.
Invitations you get
An invitation to the mailbox waits in its default calendar as tentative until you answer Yes, Maybe or No.
Delegate or propose a time
Hand an invitation to someone else and the organiser is told, or propose another time: nothing changes until the organiser accepts it.
Guests as you type
People in Contacts and people you've written to are suggested as you add guests.
